Driving a stick does not automatically rule out remote start.
Country Kustoms installs systems designed for supported manual-transmission vehicles using a built-in safety feature called Reservation Mode.

Reservation Mode allows the remote-start system to confirm the vehicle was left out of gear when it was shut down, so the system knows it is safe to remote start later.
In normal use, it adds only one extra step to the way you would normally shut the vehicle down. Country Kustoms shows the customer exactly how to use it after installation.

Can you install remote start on a manual transmission?
Yes, on supported applications using a manual-transmission-compatible system and Reservation Mode. Reservation Mode allows the system to confirm that the vehicle was safely left out of gear when it was shut down.
What is the difference between one-way and two-way remote start?
A one-way remote sends the command to the vehicle. A two-way remote also gives feedback confirming that the command was received and remote start was activated.
Can I start my vehicle with my phone?
Smartphone-connected options are available for many applications. Actual features and service-plan requirements are shown when a phone-control system is recommended.
Can I use my factory key fob?
Some vehicles can support factory-fob control while others are better served by a dedicated long-range remote. Country Kustoms determines the available options for the exact vehicle.
Do you install remote start on diesel vehicles?
Yes. Supported diesel applications are researched and configured appropriately for the vehicle.
Do you offer heated-seat or rear-defrost activation?
These may be available as optional hardwired add-ons depending on the vehicle. Country Kustoms does not present heated-seat or rear-defrost activation as factory-data features.
How long does remote start installation take?
Installation time depends on the vehicle, factory electronics, transmission and required integration. Country Kustoms provides an estimate after the application has been researched.
Do you offer mobile remote start installation?
Country Kustoms provides mobile service throughout its established service area where the installation environment is appropriate. Customers may also arrange to bring a vehicle to Country Kustoms.
Do you provide remote start installation in Boise?
Yes. Country Kustoms is based in Council and provides vehicle-specific mobile remote-start installation throughout Boise and the Treasure Valley.
